UTOPIA (OR IS IT?)
This animation was a school project in English class in the first year of
Lycée (Year 10) after we had been reading Orwell and Huxley. I worked on
this project my brother, Charlie, who was in the same class. It took almost
2000 animation cells and then we had to do the narration sound track so it
was a lot of work.
WELCOME VIDEO
This is another collaboration project with my brother, Charlie. This was
done in 2013 in collège-quatrième which is school year 8 in the UK.
This is the end credits for a welcome video that the international
section presented to prospective pupils and their parents.
“THE DEBATEABLY TRAGIC FALL OF
THE ALMIGHTY BEING”
This is the final project that I did during a course on traditional
animation at the UCLA School of Film and Television in 2015.
This is a sequence of many hand penciled drawings made on the
very same desks used for some of the very old Disney classics.
“TOP OF THE MORNING”
This is an extra project that I managed to squeeze in during the 2015
UCLA animation course.
“THE UNWILLING BOUNCING BALL”
&
“WALK CYCLE”
This is the first training project of the 2015 UCLA animation
course; every participant did a variation of these standard study
themes.
